The biographical drama “Ferrari” follows the personal and professional struggles of the visionary car founder during the summer of 1957.
Since the beginning this month the movie “Ferrari” has been showing cinema theaters across Serbia via its exclusive distributor Blitz Film & Video.
Based on the 1991 biography “Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Cars, the Races, the Machine”by Brock Yates, the film follows the personal and professional struggles of Enzo Ferrari, the visionary founder of the iconic car manufacturer Ferrari, during the summer of 1957.
Written by Troy Kennedy Martin and directed by Michael Mann, the film stars Adam Driver, Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Patrick Dempsey, Jack O’Conell, Sarah Gadon, and Gabriel Leone.
The service and the executive production were done by the ILBE Studios’ parent company ILBE, through its associated company “Welcome in Italy”.
“Ferrari” was selected to compete for the Golden Lion – Best Picture at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on August 31, 2023.
To date, the film has received numerous nominations for best performance, direction, motion picture, production design, and sound. It has received generally positive reviews from critics and was named one of the top 10 films of 2023 by the National Board of Review.
The Serbian premiere was held on February 1st at Ada Mall Cineplex in Belgrade, followed by the exhibition of SF90, Roma, F430 Spider, FF, and 458 Italia Spider cars, which attracted many guests from the automotive industry and the car lovers.
