Puffins Impossible and Prince of the Seas, produced for worldwide distribution, will be presented to the local audience for the first time at special screenings as part of the sideline program of the first Novi Sad Film Festival.

The events take place on September 23 and 24 at the Arena Cineplex Novi Sad. After the screenings, the audience will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with the author crews. Selections from the animated series Puffins Impossible, starring Johnny Depp, will be available to the youngest audience and all animation funs to watch on Sunday, September 24 at 10 a.m. The series was created at ILBE Studios and produced by Archangel Digital Studios with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.

After more than a year of successful streaming on the global platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Google Play in more than 120 countries worldwide, Serbian audience will now have a unique opportunity to watch the series which involves 300 local artists and creative professionals.

Puffins impossible follows the everyday adventures of five Arctic birds with superpowers. The main character and leader of their group, Johnny Puff, is voiced by actor Johnny Depp. Through humor and gags in seemingly absurd situations, children are introduced to themes like equality, unity, friendship, empathy, respect for diversity, environmental protection and more.

After the screening, the teams working on the series will speak about their personal experiences in creating short animated 3D forms, challenges in storytelling for children, and best practices established after three years of working on the project. The panel discussion, moderated by Mileta Poštić, Storyboard Director & ITC Manager at ILBE Studios, will feature: Peter Nalli, Head of Animation & VFX, Anđelka Janković, Head of Marketing & Communications, Predrag Joldić, Senior Technical Director, Kristina Bojanić, Scriptwriter, Zoran Jovičić, 2D Storyboard Artist, Marija Jelušić, Animation Picture Editor – from ILBE Studios, and Bojan Kosović, Creative Director at the Archangel Digital Studios series production company and director of several episodes.

The first feature-length animated documentary Prince of the Seas will be showcased at a special festival screening on Saturday, September 23, starting at 6 p.m. The film is produced by ILBE Studios and Furuna Crafts, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.

This story will take take the audience on a journey through the memories of Prince Albert I, Monaco's greatest reformer, from the time in the Spanish Royal Navy to circumnavigating the Arctic Circle. It reveals the life path of this extraordinary man, divided between the responsibilities of the royal title and his love for the seas and the oceans.

The screening will be followed with the panel discussion about the process of adapting the story into an animated documentary moderated by Daniela Piperčević, Assistant Production Manager. Panel participants include Carla Marie Rey, Director, Peter Nalli, Associate Producer, Predrag Joldić, Executive Producer, Mileta Poštić, Executive Producer and Milisav Banković, Animation Director.
