Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, the co-founders of ILBE and ILBE Studios, were honored with the Variety Golden Globes Breakthrough Producers Award for their contributions to Italian cinema. The awards were announced at the Variety Golden Globe Awards event, part of the celebration of the 80th Venice International Film Festival. The Golden Globe Award was given to the two producers for their continued commitment to the enhancement and promotion of Italian cinema abroad.

This recognition comes as the crowning achievement of a long career made up of cinematographic successes, often dedicated to telling the stories, faces and protagonists of Italian genius. A promotion of Made in Italy also sees the ILBE Group always committed to involving Italian professionalism in projects of wide international scope.

We are proud to promote and enhance great Italian cinema in this unique setting in the world, which is the Venice Film festival, Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi stated. This award is an important recognition of ILBE’s commitment to telling the story of Italian excellence and genius and bringing it to the world. We did it with Lamgorghini, we will do it with Maserati, and also with our contribution to Ferrari we do it in Venice, which has always been one of the great homes of Italian and international cinema, they added.

This year’s Venice Film Festival started on August 30 and will last until September 9.

The last year’s edition of the Festival was also marked with an important event for ILBE and ILBE Studios, a conference dedicated to Italian and Serbian film collaboration where ILBE Studios actively participated, prior to signing the Agreement on Film Co-production between Italy and Serbia in March 2023.
