Last Wednesday (February 15),on the occasion of the Serbian Statehood Day, Mileta Poštić, Storyboard Director and ITC Manager at ILBE Studios, and Gabriella Carlucci, art director of the Italian-SerbianFilm Festival and dear friend of our studio, were awarded for their significant contributions in the field of culture by the President of the Republic of Serbia. The ceremony took place in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic. 

Mileta Poštić, renowned artist and professor from Novi Sad, was awarded with the Gold Medalfor his outstanding merits and results achieved in public and cultural activities, especially in the animation industry, having founded the first animation department in Serbia at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.  

His work, international experience, leadership and commitment have already done so much for the art and cultural scene in Serbia, and we are proud to have such an amazing team member here at ILBE Studios. 

Gabriella Carlucci, our dear friend and partner who has helped establish and shape ILBE Studios as it is today, was awarded with the Silver Medalfor her outstanding merits and results achieved in cultural activities and the promotion of the Republic of Serbia in Italy. We are grateful to Gabriella who has always supported us, and we look forward to future collaborations and mutual projects. 

For those of you who missed it in 2022, renowned Hollywood actor Johnny Depp was awarded with the Gold Medal of Merit by the Republic of Serbia for his exceptional contributions to the country’s continued efforts to enhance and expand its local artist community last year as well. Depp received the medal from Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia, on the occasion of the Serbian Statehood Day 2022 in the Palace of Serbia. 

The famous actor attended the official opening of ILBE Studios, formerly Iervolino Studios (IES), in the company of Andrea Iervolino, Lady Monika Bacardi and Miloš Biković, in October 2021 in Serbia. On the same day, he took part in the promotion of the animated series PUFFINS IMPOSSIBLE, realized and developed in Serbia and created by ILBE Studios (ILBES), owned by Andrea Iervolino and lady Monika Bacardi, founders of ILBES’ parent company, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE), and produced by Archangel Digital Studios (ADS) of Miloš Biković, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
