"Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend" Successful Premiere

The premiere of “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” in Serbia took place at the Yugoslav Cinematheque.

After its world premiere in Rome, the movie “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend“, directed and written by Oscar-winner Robert Bobby Moresco, was exclusively presented to the Belgrade audience at the official opening of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival at the Yugoslav Cinematheque on Tuesday, 25 October.

Frank Grillo, Mira Sorvino, Gabriel Byrne, Hannah van der Westhuysen, as well as the young talented actor and rising star, Romano Reggiani, play the main roles in this biopic. The movie revolves around the legendary entrepreneur and visionary Ferruccio Lamborghini. It was produced by Lambo Film LLC and Notorious Pictures in association with Prime Video, while Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE), our parent company, serve as the movie’s executive producers.

This motion picture, which will be distributed all over the world, is an ideal example of a successful cooperation between Italy and Serbia, which is also one of the main missions of ILBE and IES in our country. Some of the VFX for the movie was done by artists at Iervolino Studios, under the supervision of Peter Nalli, Head of Animation and VFX at ILBE.

The opening ceremony of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival and the premiere of the movie were also attended by H.E. Luca Gori, the Ambassador of Italy to Serbia, Goran Aleksić, the Ambassador of Serbia to Italy, Gabriella Carlucci, Director of the Festival, Marjan Vujović, Director of the Museum of the Yugoslav Cinematheque, as well as the executive producers of the movie, Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi.

After their opening ceremony speeches, Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monica Bacardi presented the two ambassadors with unique posters signed by the cast of “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend“. As a special surprise of the Festival, the premiere was attended by the Italian actor Romano Reggiani, who plays the role of young Ferruccio Lamborghini.

“Italy and Serbia have successfully cooperated in the field of the film industry for years, and I am immensely glad that we have the opportunity to contribute to these important relations between the two countries through Iervolino Studios. Our creative animation studio is currently in full swing and I am very proud of the almost 150 talented people who work together to create original characters and stories, and realize international projects and films for worldwide distribution,” said Andrea Iervolino, CEO and co-founder of ILBE and IES.

The premiere was also attended by Lady Monica Bacardi, world-renowned producer and co-founder of ILBE and Iervolino Studios, who expressed her great pleasure and satisfaction at seeing this highly-anticipated movie being presented at such an exceptional cultural event, which brings together top filmmakers and provides new cooperation opportunities between the Serbian and Italian cinematography.

Among the guests at the premiere were also representatives of Serbian and Italian film institutions and organizations.
